Pokey
Pokey is nine year old gentleman who had a family
of his own until recently. As the story goes, his owner left him
with a friend for a "short time" and then decided not to come back.
We got the call asking if we'd take him. Naturally, we said "yes".
He is now in a foster home where he settled right in
(being an old hand at retirement), took up residence on the first soft
bed he found, ignored the cat, and is perfectly content.
If you're looking for an easy boy to bring into your
home, and an easy boy to love, think about adding Pokey to your pack.
As you can see from his picture, he is full of personality and charm and
has no problem at all with other dogs. |

Flipflop was returned to us today after a brief stay
in a home that just wasn't a good fit for her - so she's a "lady in
waiting again".
Her racing career spanned 3 years, during which she
ran 103 races at Derby Lane. She retired in June 2006. She
whelped in May 2008 and was then offered a retirement package (no more
racing, no more puppies and a bus ticket to Montana) and she jumped at
the chance! She's a laid back gal who's looking forward to her
next adventure with a family she can finally call her own. She's
sure earned it!

certain to draw a crowd at the meet and greets! She was in a
foster home before coming to Montana and did very well She is friendly but not an
